Well, who’s excited for the upcoming holiday season? You too?

As I write this article we are only in the middle of September. However, stores and shopping centres have already started displaying their Christmas stock for this year!

It’s crazy, I know!

Just last weekend I went to a very well known megastore that sells all sorts of arts & crafts supplies, and I couldn’t believe the amount of Christmas decorations that were already up for sale.

Although I thought that it was a tad too early for that, I admit it made my heart sing a little bit.

Cause I do love Christmas! After all, it is most wonderful time of the year!

If you are the crafty type, you can certainly unleash your creativity and make your very own Christmas signs.

There are loads of free and paid tools on the world wide web (such as Canva), and they offer templates you could easily use.

You could also pay a visit to your local craft store and purchase some fun sequins, glitter, paint, and so on.

• Hole puncher;
• Strings;
• Ribbons;

Download the .pdf file and print it out.

HOW TO USE THE FREE MERRY CHRISTMAS SIGN PRINTABLE

Once you have downloaded the document, choose between any of the available designs and print them out. 

You can use your local print shop if you prefer, but you can simply utilise your home printer for the job. However, I do recommend you use a good quality printer paper or white cardstock for the job, to get the best quality. This will in turn provide you with the best results for the finished product, if you choose to use it as a gift for a special person.

Creative Ways to Display Christmas Signs

Once you have printed out your favourite signs, it’s time to put them on display, for everyone to see!

My 19 festive Merry Christmas signs will work very well for both indoor and outdoor use.

If placing indoor, make sure to place them in our favourite holiday frame, and hang them in a prominent space, like your entry hall, your kitchen, above the fireplace mantel, near the Christmas tree, etc.

Alternatively, if you want to hang the page from your kids bedroom door, or on the fridge, you could laminate it, so that it doesn’t get damaged.

Can you use the Merry Christmas sign printables outdoors? 

Nothing says happy holidays more than a festive wreath hung on your front door. So, why not accompany it with one of my beautiful signs?

Create your own holiday decorations with a lovely frame, some holly and maybe a bauble or two! 

Safety Precautions for Outdoor Christmas Signs

If you plan to display your printable sign outdoors, it is very important that you protect your documents, or they could be damaged by the elements (or people) very easily.

I would absolutely advice that you first laminate the pages, and then you place them in a weather resistant frame.

In addition to that, make sure to fasten the frame securely, so that it cannot blow away if it’s a bit windy outside!

Sharing the Joy: Gifting Christmas Signs

This Christmas season, why not spreading the holiday spirit by gifting one of my Merry Christmas signs to your loved ones?
